Hi, I’m Jade — the photographer behind Jade Ann Photography, and the person you’ll be chatting to from your first enquiry right through to receiving your final gallery.

On most wedding days, you’ll also spot my partner, John, quietly working in the background with the big lens. While I focus on leading the day, directing portraits and capturing the key moments, John photographs alongside me as a second shooter, capturing many of the candid moments and genuine interactions that unfold throughout the day.

When he’s not photographing weddings, John works as an electrician — a skillset that has proven surprisingly useful more than once! Over the years he’s helped troubleshoot everything from faulty plugs and lighting mishaps to rescuing a DJ whose speakers decided to give up at the worst possible moment. Calm, practical and always ready to lend a hand, he’s the kind of person you’re grateful to have around on a wedding day.

We’ve been together for the last five years and genuinely love sharing in the excitement, joy and emotion of the weddings we photograph. Working together allows us to capture your day from multiple perspectives while creating a relaxed and supportive experience for our couples.
